If you want to divorce, you and your spouse must both have resided in Singapore for three years or more, and you must have been married to each other for at least three years.

- Your spouse has committed adultery, and you find it intolerable to live with him/her;
- Your spouse has behaved unreasonably to such a degree that you cannot reasonably be expected to live with him/her;
- Your spouse has deserted you for a continuous period of at least 2 years;
- You and your spouse have lived apart for a continuous period of at least 3 years, and your spouse agrees to getting a divorce;
- You and your spouse have lived apart for a continuous period of at least 4 years.
- Writ for divorce;
- Statement of Claim; and
- Statement of Particulars.
